An encounter on the Orient Express, sounds like the title of a book, but this is where the story of Lou Paris started. Andre Faller and Lucienne (Lou for short) were travelling on the European luxury train in 1946. At the time, Lucienne had a flair for dressmaking and had made been making her own lingerie in a workshop at home. With Andre’s help they set up a corset making company in Grenoble in 1950 and later married.
The company evolved over the years and now based in Paris, became Lou Paris. They built up its reputation by designing sensuous luxury lingerie and outfitting stars like the iconic Brigitte Bardot. With its edgy spirit, they continue to design and produce high quality lingerie. Lou are renowned for their lacework, French designs and comfortable fit.
